A show of appreciation for 12 years’ service

Some staffers of Barbados TODAY descended on Carlton Variety Bar & Grille at Lower Carlton, St James on Saturday night to point out their appreciation for former colleague Jamelia Benskin.

Benskin, who recently departed from the corporate after a 12-year stint, was treated to an evening of wonderful cuisine while reminiscing on the fun times she had with colleagues, past and present. She thanked all for the gesture while extending her heartfelt blessings to all management and staff of the corporate.

To the music of Dionne Warwick’s That’s What Friends Are For within the background, the previous chief sub-editor was toasted by the gathering.

Here, Benskin (right) is all smiles as her former workmates pose for the camera. (WG)
