Bahamas ranks #7, in between Jamaica and Turks & Caicos

The study, by ParkSleepFly, analyzed Google search data for flights, vacations and hotels in popular tourist destinations world wide to find the most well-liked and fastest-growing vacation hotspots for US tourists this 12 months.
Based on the findings, the highest 10 most in-demand countries for a vacation abroad amongst US tourists, from most to least, were:

It’s no secret that Americans love a Caribbean vacation, and the white sand beaches of Puerto Rico aren’t any exception. There have been over 1.6 million Google searches within the last six months referring to vacations in Puerto Rico, rating the destination first place.
Following in second is the Maldives. The tropical South Asian island famous for its crystal blue waters and idyllic landscape is some of the popular travel destinations for Americans. Over the past six months, there have been over 400,000 Google searches for hotels, flights and vacations in Maldives.
Costa Rica is the third hottest vacation countries for US residents. Americans have searched over 380,000 times for vacations, hotels and flights to Costa Rica within the last six months.
The ParkSleepFly research also found that the US Virgin Islands saw the best growth in popularity amongst US tourists, seeing a 98.64 percent increase in the entire variety of Google searches for flights, vacations and hotels within the US Virgin Islands in 2021 in comparison with the previous 12 months.
The largest decline in vacation popularity amongst Americans will be seen in China. There was a 75.03 percent decrease in Google searches for flights, vacations and hotels in China this 12 months.
Cancun, Mexico, is essentially the most in-demand city destination with US tourists, seeing 638,000 searches during the last six months, followed by Bali and Dubai.
Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands, is the destination increasing in popularity essentially the most amongst US tourists, with a rise in searches of 77.03 percent in 2021 in comparison with 2020.
