Cricket Carnival Road Parade set for Monday – News Room Guyana

All the Cricket Carnival activities have to this point been successful with the highly anticipated Cricket Carnival Road Parade planned for Monday.

That is based on General Manager of the Cricket Carnival, Abigail Mohabir. She was on the time giving the Department of Public Information (DPI) an update on the Road Parade which shall be held on Monday, September 25 at 13:00hrs.

“It is going to be held on the 25^th of September assembly time at 5 pm. Now we have five bands on board…the Pulse Warrior, Amazonia fantasy band, HJ Boom Nation, West Siderz Entertainment Heritage Band and Decoded Carnival,”

The route shall be similar to last 12 months with bands assembling on Principal Street and heading towards the roundabout at Kitty Seawall.

“The bands will head off east on Church Street, north into Irving Street, and they’ll proceed around Chandisingh Road and it would close on the roundabout on the seawall,” Mohabir said.
