FROM ONE CREATION TO ANOTHER: Bahamian recording artist ventures into art

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Dominique Forbes, the Bahamian creative who has already established herself as a world recording artist and creator, has now ventured into the art field.

The artistic entrepreneur with an enormous portfolio has recently publicized a family life piece entitled “Deception!” and one other art piece entitled “MOM WITH CHIPS!”

Chatting with the primary piece, Forbes said: “This idea is inspired by my desire for helping society to construct healthier family structures and functional homes by extension.

“I’m not saying that any of the above-mentioned doesn’t exist. What I’m saying is that this piece is really inspired by my personal love for seeing this area of life develop.”

She added: “I would like to encourage people to be faithful to at least one one other in all relationships and would love to assist others to grasp who’s behind the spirit of deceit, which all manner of trickery tends to fall under.”

The artist explained that the second piece was a more spur-of-the moment sentimental piece that got here about after one in all her beloved children by accident made a spill on the ground.

She described how the inspiration just got here to her as she was cleansing up it, and he or she decided to form the word “mom” right into a full of life and meaningful arrangement amid the chaos.

Forbes’ creative entrepreneurship has taken flight over the past few years, together with her having self-published several books and released a litany of music singles.

The Bahamian native has garnered tens of 1000’s of listeners on SoundCloud from world wide and is featured on Brazilian station Estilo De Jogo every week at 8pm on Mondays, 7.30 on Wednesdays and 8pm on Thursdays.

She recently hinted that her next upcoming single, “Come Near Me”, is just across the corner and within the meantime, she has begun offering virtual singing lessons to assist Bahamians of all ages tap into their musical side.

“Classes are for teenagers and or adults who’re children at heart and who’re able to learn,” she said, noting that special rates are offered for groups, families and youngsters.

Forbes said her music students will learn find out how to strengthen their voice, tune their ears for music, work on their pitch and project their voice.

As well as, she said they may also have a good time and construct comradery along the best way.
