AFTER spending a few years working behind the scenes as a background vocalist, fusion artiste Jahn’ll is able to step into the highlight.

“I’ve gained numerous experience working as a background vocalist each within the studio and on stage. While I’m grateful for that, I think the time has come for me to showcase my talent in a much larger way,” said the artiste.

The singer, who’s the grand-daughter of legendary Jamaican music pioneer Clancy Eccles, says music is in her blood.

“I’m from a musical family; my father Clancy Eccles Jr is a singer; and his father, Clancy Eccles Sr, was a singer, songwriter and producer. All my life I have been surrounded by music and I used to be born with the gift of singing. So selecting a profession in music was a very simple alternative for me,” said Jahn’ll.

Jahn’ll is promoting a hot, new single titled Nuh Ready on the Pandemic Records label.

“I’m very enthusiastic about my new single. Because it got here out I have been getting numerous positive feedback about it. Everyone who’s heard it believes it has the potential to be an enormous hit,” she said.

She’s currently within the studio working on several new projects.

“I’m doing numerous work within the studios because I need to drop a some more singles before the tip of the yr. I’m also contemplating about recording an EP or an album but I actually have not made up my mind as yet,” she added.

Jahn’ll — given name Jahnell Eccles — is a former Ashe alumni. She launched her recording profession in 2009 with a song titled Wine on the Frenz For Real label.
